In a career that lasted for four decades, Ecclestone, especially with his sale of TV rights, revolutionized Formula One. Ecclestone also owned and ran the Brabham team successfully for 15 years. The Britisher’s business acumen coupled with the TV deal took F1 from a niche sport to a global sport.

Bernie Ecclestone travels in style in his $40 million jet

Ecclestone’s private jet, the Dassault Falcon 7X, is worth an astonishing $40 million. As reported by SuperYachtFan, the large cabin in the jet can accommodate up to 16 passengers.

Ecclestone purchased the Jet in 2008 with the registration tag N999BE, his initials at the end as ‘BE’. The expensive jet is just a part of his collection in the travel department, but surely one of, if not the most expensive one.

When Ecclestone bought the jet back in 2008, the Dassault Falcon 7X was the eighth of its kind. Since then, 250 more jets have been produced but only the ultra-rich own them. Other famous owners of the Dassault Falcon 7X include Prince Albert of Monaco and Microsoft billionaire Charles Simonyi, among others.
