Daniel Ricciardo has been phenomenal this season with Renault. After the Australian secured his first podium at Eifel, he was quick to secure his second at Imola. However, his last race of the season was not ideal. Well, for his next season at McLaren, he will certainly have to buckle up.
Daniel Ricciardo was a rockstar on the grid with Red Bull. However, after the Milton Keynes outfit left a bitter taste in his mouth, he had to shift to another camp.
With a choice between McLaren and Renault, the Aussie chose the latter. Although the Honeybadger had a tough time getting a hand of the car, he will be leaving the Enstone-based outfit with a treasure trove of fond memories and one tattoo.

Ricciardo joins Lando Norris at McLaren next season. After Ferrari recruited Carlos Sainz to drive alongside Leclerc, the former Renault man looks to occupy his cockpit. Well, with the new regulations and a better chance at success, Daniel may threaten many.
Competition is of sheer essence in F1. However, much more than others on the grid, a driver has to face domestic competition. Well, with his teammate as Lando Norris, the competition may have kicked off already.
Following an eventful race at the Yas Marina Circuit earlier today, McLaren saw Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris race for the seat at the post-race presentation. After the Aussie reached the seat first, he mocked Norris with a quip saying, “Get out of here.”

Lando Norris outperformed his competitors today. He started ahead of his present and his future teammates, and he finished the race at a fantastic P5. The Red Bulls were, of course, flying at Abu Dhabi, and had it not been for Albon, Norris would have finished at P4.
The 2021 season would witness several changes in driver’s lineups. It is not just McLaren that welcome Daniel Ricciardo to the team. Renault look to host Fernando Alonso yet again and Haas F1 launches Mick Schumacher.

Well, with these new driver duos on the grid, the spice during the weekend will definitely reach its zenith.
Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris both carry the momentum of a wonderful season into 2021. Although they have not scored a podium for their last race at Abu Dhabi, they recorded a wonderful outing. With that and their wonderful crew, McLaren will be a real threat in the race for the championship.

Although the two racing up to the seat may be feisty for the fans, it may hint at an early rivalry brewing between the two. Zak Brown was too eager to get Ricciardo to his team, given his experience with the chocolate boy of the grid.
