Many will agree that Lewis Hamilton has a soft space for his fans. The seven-time world champion is a widely known entity, with many F1 fans hailing him as one of the best to have ever graced the sport. Hamilton is a much-admired figure in the history of motorsports, with a sizeable chunk of the fraternity always backing and supporting him.

While the 2022 season has not been the best for the Mercedes driver, he still remains a favorite on the grid. Back in Silverstone, the 37-year-old’s popularity was clear as a humongous number turned up in Neon caps to show their support for the Briton, who isn’t even in contention for this year’s world championship.

“When my brother died my nephew wrote Lewis a letter thanking him for the joy he gave them. I got the letter to Lewis w/ the help of a very great person. And guys, Lewis wrote him back.”

The impact of Lewis Hamilton

Hamilton, arguably, as a seven-time world champion, is the biggest face of the F1 community. The driver is one of the few racers to make an impact on the world away from the racetrack. With a social media following of millions, the Briton always tries to be motivating and positive for his audience.
