“Achilles Heel” – Toto Wolff Reveals Huge Mexican GP F1 Fears

Currently, Mercedes leads both championships and feels they can achieve a good result in Turkey as well as Austin. However, according to Team Principal, Toto Wolff, the Silver Arrows might suffer at the Mexican Grand Prix.

Their arch-rivals, Red Bull won back in 2017  and 2018, whereas Mercedes only won back in 2019. Now after a year’s hiatus, the grid heads back to Mexico, and Mercedes are concerned that it might affect the title race.

Toto Wolff is worried about Mercedes’s performance at the Mexican GP

The title fight between Red Bull and Mercedes has never been this intense. However, with the Mexican GP back on the F1 calendar, Wolff & Co are skeptical about achieving a victory, as the track has favored their rivals from Milton-Keynes.

Can the Silver Arrows find victory in Turkey?

After the event Russian Grand Prix this past weekend, which saw Lewis Hamilton victorious; Mercedes hope to repeat the same in Istanbul. Last year when the grid visited Istanbul Park, it was the Knight who came out on top, claiming his seventh world title.

Now, as they return to Turkey f0r the 2021 season, Hamilton hopes to lead his Brackley-based squad into glory once again and further extend their lead in the championship.

However, the Silver Arrows are well aware that the Raging Bulls will throw everything at them in the upcoming round in Turkey. Wolff hopes that his drivers, Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will keep them at bay, and seize maximum points for the team.
