The life of a Formula 1 Driver must be super glamorous. However, when you’re in the thick of it all, you hardly realize it. Something similar happened to 7-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton, as he was on his way to the 2014 GQ Awards.
The duo of Hamilton-Scherzinger broke up in 2015 after dating for around seven years. However, a year before the couple eventually decided to part way, the fans got to see a wholesome post from their favorite Formula 1 driver. In 2014, we saw the Mercedes stalwart getting caught off guard by the American singer-songwriter.

Hamilton took to Facebook to write this about his then-girlfriend, “On the way to GQ awards on Tuesday, was so busy getting ready I hadn’t seen how good my lady @nicolescherzy was lookin. This is when I realized … damn!!!.”
Hamilton and Scherzinger may have ended the relationship, but that does not mean that he does not regret the entire thing coming to an end. Rather, Hamilton has been very vocal about his feelings with regard to the breakup.

While speaking to the media after the break-up he explained, “I’m trying my hardest to be positive but I’m going through a really, really tough time at the moment with the loss of someone really, really special in my life.”

It’s very touching when you see the human side of your heroes. Lewis Hamilton is a war machine on track. He has dominated the sport in ways no one can ever possibly emulate. However, off the track, he is a human as well.
