Aston Martin’s AMR23 has caused the Red Bull to look sideways. The dazzling green squad has established an example for the next generation to follow. In fact, the squad is led by an ambitious individual who is the only pilot for the team to finish on the podium in three straight races. The team’s expectations have increased as a result of this performance, and it has been suggested that Lawrence Stroll‘s ambition may soon be achieved.

Many of us might have chuckled when we first heard that Lawrence Stroll’s Aston Martin’s speed was on par with the other top two competitors, Mercedes and Ferrari. the team that struggled at the back of the grid last season had gotten better so much that they can keep up with the top teams. In an interview with the newspaper AS, the former champion emphasized what might happen in the upcoming races. The Brazilian makes a prediction that Monaco will be the competition in which the Spaniard might succeed with his El Plan, fulfilling Stroll’s ambitions. However, the native of Sao Paulo also noted that Red Bull will be the competitor to face off in the city of luxuries. He said, “He is one of the favorites to win there. We already know that in that particular layout the mechanics are equalized and anything can happen.”

He added, that the driver who starts from the pole usually ends up standing at the top of the podiums, ” The fight for pole will be vital, as always, because 70% of the time the one who starts first wins the race. Qualifying will be essential and Fernando will do it for sure but, although the differences between the cars will be smaller, I see two problems for him to win in the Principality: one is Max Verstappen and another ‘Checo’ Pérez. The two will go very strong also in Monaco but it is obvious that Fernando will have his options. He can win if he is lucky.”

Alonso is already a valuable asset to the team since his presence creates a positive environment that motivates everyone to give their best effort. In a similar vein, the team principal of Aston Martin has provided some insight into the changes that Alosno’s presence in the squad has brought along.
