After Bitter Red Bull Rejection, Porsche Launch Fresh F1 Pursuit With McLaren & One Other Team

The partnership between Red Bull and Porsche is no longer a deal now. Once the carmakers wanted to quit their ambitions to enter F1, but now the people of Stuttgart have found themselves some amazing possibilities. The VW-owned German carmakers are rumored to have had an advance talk with two top teams of Formula 1.
To enter the racing series, the Volkswagen AG company has to look around after ending their potential partnership with Red Bull. With all this, they are in advance talks with McLaren and Williams.

CFO, Lutz Meschke, quoted, “For us, Formula 1 remains an interesting racing series. So we’re looking to see if there are any other viable options.” [translated using Google]
Hence, Porsche is believed to join hands with Mclaren and Williams. Porsche has a well-known connection with both teams’ Bosses. Both Andreas Seidl and Jost Capito have worked with the VW group.

According to Lutz, they are not willing to take any unconvinced decision just to enter the racing zone. He said, “We do not allow ourselves to be pressured into a decision of which we are not convinced.”
The timing isn’t a problem for the Volkswagen Group as they are calculating all the possibilities that make sense. Now the question about Red Bull is if they have turned down the deal, what’s next for them?

In the recent past, Honda supplied the power units to Red Bull, but the Japanese manufacturer left the sport after 2021. The Milton Keynes-based team might just join hands with Honda again, as the branding of the Japanese manufacturer was visible at the Japanese Grand Prix on Red Bull’s vehicle.

SPORT1 gave some insights about who probably could be the next manufacturer for the Red Bulls. Hyundai and Ford can tie up with the Austrian team.
