In 2019, Formula 1 came out with a Docu-series titled ‘Drive to Survive’, on Netflix. It not only gave its existing audience base a look into the high-stakes world of F1 but also expanded its reach across the globe. The initial success that it saw allowed them to produce more seasons of the same. Following that success, F1 is now planning to produce its own scripted drama series.
While ‘Drive to Survive’ focused on the unscripted behind-the-scenes reality of the sport, ‘One’, the new scripted series by F1, will showcase the life of a fictitious family-owned team and the drama that ensues. For the first time, F1 is collaborating with Bedrock Entertainment to bring a family drama to your television screens. And it stars Star Wars Actress, Felicity Jones, who will act in and produce ‘One’.
