In the past few weeks, rumors have cropped up suggesting that Mick Schumacher could make his F1 debut with Haas next year. If that were to happen, Mick’s uncle, Ralf Schumacher, a former F1 driver himself, believes that it would be a great place for his nephew to begin his F1 career.

At Haas, the 21-year-old won’t be expected to deliver massive results or accumulate points by the bucket load. Moreover, the current state of the team means the bar is pretty low. Mick could learn the chops of F1 racing here before perhaps becoming a future Ferrari driver.

The American team has only managed a dismal three points from the 2020 campaign, and it looks as though they’ll be competing with Williams for the title of the wooden spoon at the back of the grid next year. This is also why Ralf is slightly skeptical about the deal.
