What a couple of race weekends it has been for Lando Norris and McLaren. The only problem F1 fans had with the duo of Norris and McLaren was that whilst the 23-year-old was an obvious talent, the team never fulfilled on giving him a car that was comparable. However, now that that is out of the way, the true ambition and desire of the Brit is on display for everyone to see.

Norris qualified a brilliant P3 in today’s Hungarian Grand Prix Qualifying session. This means that the Brit, who had a woeful start to the season due to McLaren’s shortcomings, is in pole position to bag consecutive podium finishes for himself and the team. But Norris isn’t one bit happy about this!

Norris was quoted as saying post-Quali, “It wasn’t the cleanest, there’s always that element of risk involved. I’m happy but, P3 is still a good position for tomorrow!” But as Norris rued his missed opportunity, Lewis Hamilton gave his countryman a dose of reality!
