Alpine plan to battle with the leaders

Alpine can easily build on the progress made by Renault and Ricciardo. The Aussie’s presence in the team for two years has helped them by leaps and bounds. Not only did they bag three podiums, but they also finished P5 on the standings. Even though he has left the team for McLaren, the knowledge he shared with them during his stay will prove to be quite useful.
As they’re changing their look as a team, they also want to change their image; the team does not want to be in the midfield battle anymore, they want to contest for the title. They seem confident of overtaking their rivals, Aston Martin and McLaren, and taking the fight to Red Bull and Mercedes.
