If the first two competitive sessions of the Brazilian GP are anything to go by, fans will be thoroughly excited about the main race. After Kevin Magnussen got the pole position on Friday, he fell down the order in the Sprint. George Russell, on the other hand, overtook Max Verstappen and will start the race tomorrow from the front row. However, the Alpine duo of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon’s duel was one of the most intriguing battles in the race.

Mercedes will be on Cloud 9 after a superb performance in Brazil. However, Alpine will be scratching their head after a fiery contest between Alonso and Ocon. The first instance occurred in the very first lap of the race when the duo came together. In the other instance, the pair collided, which saw Alonso’s car get damaged during the race.

Moreover, in a disappointing outing for the French constructors, they finished the race in P15 and P18. Fernando Alonso tried his best to hide his anger and disappointment on the team radio.

The Turn 4 collision between the Alpine pair caused a hole in the sidepod of Esteban Ocon’s car. This further led to Ocon’s car catching fire at the end of the session.
