Wolff began, “Lewis and I have been together now for 10 years. In a way it was Alpha Males in a different situation that were put into this together.”
He explained, “Today we’re friends but we care. I care for him, he cares for me and he cares for the team also.”
However, as Wolff narrated, sometimes the ego and personalities get the better of each other in high-pressure situations. “Sometimes the Lion comes out and you hear these angry messages.”
But he contextualized this by disclosing a side of the Brit that many seem to not see. “He’s the one that, after hearing that he is apologetic because he has a big heart.”
According to Wolff, this mega partnership is not going to end anytime soon. He believes that irrespective of rumors, he is clear with Lewis Hamilton on extending his Mercedes contract.
