As the driver lineup commotion continues at Ferrari for post-2024, Charles Leclerc‘s contract renewal has put 50% of their troubles to rest. The Monegasque is set to sign a 5-year, $204 million contract with Ferrari. But there is uncertainty over the other seat that Carlos Sainz is currently occupying. And the Maranello team’s problems might increase as Sainz is reported to move away from the team.

And since Audi, which will join F1 in 2026, is owned by Volkswagen, Sainz Sr.’s connections ought to get his son a seat driver’s seat with them.
