Michael Andretti has revealed that his potential entry into the sport is a matter of time now. The son of Mario Andretti believes that the opinion regarding his entry to F1 has positive feedback from the people involved. Andretti is set to launch his own F1 team in 2024 if FIA gives the final nod.

The Andretti family is already in the sporting business. They already own an IndyCar team named Andretti Autosport. Michael who himself has been a driver wishes to have his team ‘Andretti Global’ compete in F1 in a few years.

Talking about this, the 59-year-old American conveyed, “The good thing is we’ve spoken to a lot of team owners now, and we’re getting support from all the team owners now after hearing our story, so it’s positive. They need to know how serious we are. I mean, we’ve contacted them all, and I think there’s only going to be good fallout from Colton’s testing with McLaren, and how serious it is. as a project for us.”

We are going to help the value of Formula 1 and the sport, all the teams, will get more out of it than we are going to get out of it. I think Liberty Media makes about $3 billion a year from F1, and I think we’ll be worth at least $100 million a year more going into the game. That makes sense to everyone.”, the son of Mario Andretti further asserted.

Andretti’s investors have shown great interest in investing in the former’s team.
