Apple TV Sets the Ball Rolling for Lewis Hamilton Documentary

British driving ace Lewis Hamilton will soon have a documentary that tells his story. This comes as no surprise for the fans across the globe, as Lewis is one of the greatest to ever grace the sport and is an icon. The seven-time world champion will look forward to the documentary, which will honor his legacy and give a glimpse into his career.

Hamilton is also the only Black driver in Formula One and is an inspiration to the black community. Lewis has previously mentioned that his journey to Formula One was anything but easy. He firmly stands against racism and is a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Lewis Hamilton is a movie star

The documentary will give an insight into Lewis‘s personal and professional life and will be made up of various guest interviews. The documentary set to air on Apple TV+ will be directed by Matt Kay. Additionally, it is produced by Hamilton, Penni Thow, Box to Box Films, and One Community.

Apple TV+ recently made a statement that said, Hamilton has blazed an uncharted trail professionally, socially and culturally, and transformed the sport on a global scale.”

Hamilton is also a part of an acting project alongside Brad Pitt. We also expect this movie to feature on Apple TV+ with the documentary. Joseph Kosinski will reportedly take the helms of the film alongside producer Jerry Bruckheimer and screenwriter Ehren Kruger. On Apple’s list of recently announced unscripted movies, They Call Me Magic–the life story of NBA star Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson was also present.

Hamilton is a global icon

The Mercedes star has some previous experience with acting too. He has starred in the Cars franchise and had a cameo in Zoolander 2. This documentary will inspire so many people who dare to dream and is a treat to Hamilton fans. This will also be an inspiring story to follow for people from various marginalized communities.

Lewis is a worldwide icon and now bears the title of “Sir”. After last season’s heartbreak, he will look forward to winning his eighth title. The new F1 season will start on March 20, 2022, in Bahrain.
