For instance, a year competing in the biggest karting scenes can cost anywhere between $30,000-$50,000. Compared to his rivals on the grid, did George Russell get a boost while entering the circus?

Steve Russell was a small-time business owner dealing in beans and peas. He used whatever cash he earned to help fund George’s karting career.
