Sebastian Vettel had a disastrous 2020 Formula 1 season. Ferrari announced earlier last year that Carlos Sainz will replace the German for 2021 and Vettel has since signed with Aston Martin F1. The team recently uploaded a tweet teasing fans with the first look of the German star in their racing suit.

The team also found a new sponsor named Cognizant which means we will be seeing Vettel in a green and blue racing suit. However, fans did not get to see the suit just yet as Aston Martin was in quite the teasing mood.

The team later clarified that the boot in the image belongs to Sebastian Vettel. It stirred the fans up, as they expected to see the first look of their beloved German driver.

Sebastian Vettel is ready to roll with Aston Martin

Vettel had a difficult final season with Ferrari. The team saw a significant reduction in power unit performance as they tried to recover from FIA’s 2019 restrictions. In 2019, Sebastian Vettel claimed 240 points and finished in the P5 position as compared to P13 with 33 points in 2020.

The German is keenly looking forward to starting his new Formula 1 chapter with Aston Martin. Just recently, Sebastian Vettel paid his first visit to Aston Martin’s Silverstone base for the first time.

“It’s hugely exciting for everyone in the team. In Sebastian, we have a proven four-time World Champion with experience of helping teams become race-winning and Championship-contending outfits,” said Aston Martin boss Otmar Szafnauer.

Vettel brings in a significant amount of experience to the team. Hopefully, the German will get behind the wheels of a car that can help him get back to the podium. Aston Martin will also hope that Vettel will help them make a successful comeback to Formula 1.
