This Miami GP had its fair share of mishaps. The evening got off the wrong foot when Roger Federer’s security personnel turned back an 83-year-old F1 legend from meeting him. This incident did not sit well with the fans who criticized this act and condemned that people have not shown respect to this legend. Turns out, the 20-time Grand Slam champion later made up to him with a classy gesture.
The 2023 Miami GP became quite the tennis royalty affair, as Roger wasn’t the only star of the sport present there. ‘Momma Smash’ Serena Williams was there to cheer for her favorite driver and best friend Lewis Hamilton as well. Turns out, her rival of the yesteryear, Maria Sharapova was supporting the Briton too. Maria was even a speaker at a talk organized by WSJ and met with the likes of former Williams test driver, Susie Wolff.
