Teams’ twitter admins with the jokes

In a wait that felt like forever, the team’s admins spent their time on Twitter. It was what really got the memes flowing; especially after Pierre Gasly asked for some sausage on the track, the Alpha Tauri barbeque really got the party started. F1 fans take over the Belgian GP

While the teams had their fun, F1 fans dominated the Belgian GP hashtag. The best outcome of the event was Twitter deciding on their driver of the day. Bernd Maylander took the esteemed title and was hailed as the winner of the Belgian GP. The safety car truly did more laps around the circuit than the F1 cars; a situation Twitter found hilarious.

Because of the German’s incredible performance on the track, the constructor’s board had a massive update. Mercedes took a startling lead in the constructors with an F1 first of a 1-2-3 finish. Twitter shared what it thought was the ideal representation of the podium at Spa.

The memes have been endless, each better than the next. To summarize the GP, here’s the official Race Highlights video by F1.
