$4.2 Billion Worth Bernie Ecclestone Makes Insane Death Wish to Wife in Order to Pocket More Money
The Megalomaniac who was removed from the helm of F1 met his Brazilian wife in 2009. The duo welcomed their son in 2020. And while that still seems like the normal course of life between partners, you should hear what the British tycoon has asked of his wife when he dies. He has laid out very specific demands, which involve a DHL box and making money.
Nonagenarian Billionaire Bernie Ecclestone has a bizarre vision for the afterlife. The ex-Formula 1 kingpin who has been married three times before has a task set out for his current partner, Fabiana Flosi. The task, or as one may call his money-minting death wish may leave you perplexed at the man’s idea. He told his wife, who works as the FIA vice president for South America, how to make money post his demise using him.

As quoted by Dailystar, he said, “When I’m gone, I’m gone. I told Fabiana a long time ago, ‘When I disappear, get a nice cardboard box, put me in the box, and put me in the oven.'” He further added the details of instructions given to his wife. He stated, “But before you do it, write DHL on the box and get some advertising money. That’s the way to do it.”
This isn’t the first time Ecclestone has said something out of the ordinary, from setting out bizarre rules for his demise to discrediting Lewis Hamilton, the man has never minced his words.

Lewis Hamilton won his first title in 2008 while coming extremely close to it in his rookie year, i.e. 2007. While the world celebrated as history was made on multiple levels with Hamilton picking his title, the ex-F1 honcho doesn’t agree with the man’s glory and believes Michael Schumacher is the only recipient of seven world titles.
As quoted by the Mirror, Bernie said, “I still feel sorry for Massa today. He won the final at his home race in Sao Paulo and did everything right. He was cheated out of the title he deserved while Hamilton had all the luck in the world and won his first championship. Today I would have arranged things differently. Michael Schumacher is still the sole record world champion, for me. Even if the statistics say otherwise.”
