Billionaire Curse Hits Hard as Toto Wolff Suffers Horrific Injury Similar to Lance Stroll

What do billionaires do during vacations, you ask? Injured, they get injured. Well, we can’t generalize this but it looks to be the case now in the F1 world. Being around athletes and sportsmen should ideally make one more careful of their health. But before the beginning of this season, Lance Stroll broke both his wrists. And for some reason, Toto Wolff has given an unintended tribute to him by nearly replicating his accident and getting horrifically injured.
The F1 summer break has started and all drivers and teams are enjoying their time away from the sport. And so is Wolff. He’s in Germany holidaying with his wife, Susie Wolff, and children. Mrs. Wolff posted a carousel of the family’s outings. But the last photo of that carousel showed Toto Wolff with a big cast on his left arm. It started near the wrist and ended all the way up covering his entire upper arm minus the deltoids.

Do you want to guess how he got injured? If you guessed that it was a biking accident like Stroll’s, you are right. The Mercedes Boss broke his left arm in a downward mountain biking accident. Though it looked like a serious injury, he was quite up and about with his son, in that photo. But if you draw a comparison between Wolff’s and Stroll’s accidents, bikes were the common thing. And the bikes won the battle in both cases, leaving both the bike drivers in immense pain.
This is not the first time that the Austrian has broken his arm. This injury marks the 9th anniversary of his previous summer break accident in 2014.

Toto Wolff’s Broken Left Arm In the Summer Break Brings Unwanted Balance To His Physical State
Summer break seems to be an ominous period for Toto Wolff. Back in the summer break of 2014, he got into a similar bike accident. That time, he was with his Mercedes team members and they crashed, creating a pile-up. As a result, Wolff sustained multiple fractures to his right arm.
He broke his shoulder, elbow, collarbone, and his wrist in that crash. Fun fact – A metal plate was inserted into his wrist to heal the fracture that led to Susie Wolff calling him ‘Totonator’ – a wordplay on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator. That accident fractured his right arm and the most recent one fractured his left arm. While that is not some balance that anybody hopes for, he got it anyway.

But there is nothing major to worry about. It is found that he will be completely fine by the time the summer break ends. If you are looking for a lighter take on this, maybe this was the universe’s way of protecting the headphones that he has had to consistently bang because of Mercedes’ inconsistency.
