Black Eyed Peas, Kid Laroi Among Others Featuring in $10K Experience at Singapore GP

F1 will return to Singapore GP once again this season. The Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore has always been one of the most attractive places on the calendar. It was the track that held the first ever night race in the sport.

It is also been a place where celebrities from all across the world flock in to make their presence felt. There is always a party atmosphere on all 3 days when the sport races in the streets of Singapore and this year again would be no different.

F1 is returning to the country for the first time since the pandemic, so there is excitement about the race. Fans can expect a blockbuster atmosphere throughout the weekend. On Friday night, especially, friends will be treated to some musical concerts that will stay with them forever.

As reported by CNALifestyle, Black-Eyed Peas, TLC, The Kid Laroi, and Suede have been announced for musical performances. Black-Eyed Peas will especially garner masses of fans who can see them perform on Padang Stage Zone 4 on Oct 1 and the Wharf Stage Zone 1 on Oct 2. The ticket prices will start from S$89 for a Bay Grandstand ticket and can go up to S$9,898 for tickets for the Formula 1 Paddock Club.

It was also recently announced that the track has extended the contract with the sport for several more years. But world champion Max Verstappen mentioned he fears F1 might be heading towards more street track.

There is a looming doubt that the sport might lose the Spa-Francorchamps track for more street circuits in the future. The Red Bull driver voiced his disappointment over the possibility of losing his favorite track.

“It is sad, it is my favorite track to drive. It is a very iconic track. I don’t want to see myself in 2028 driving only on street circuits, close to cities, just for fan engagement. I understand it is about money. F1 cars are not designed for [street circuits],” said Verstappen.

It is hard to disagree with the world champion on potentially losing one of the most iconic tracks in the sport. But it is also great to see that the sport is heading back to places like Singapore, which brings an amazing atmosphere.
