One of the most loved duos in Formula 1 is back together! Lewis Hamilton and Roscoe were reunited right before the British GP, and well, a British GP would be incomplete without Hamilton’s best friend strutting into and rocking the paddock. And this weekend, the F1 community has gotten so much content around the paddock’s favorite bulldog that Twitter fans were already in a frenzy before Hamilton revealed Roscoe’s late-night antics.

Since the start of the season, Roscoe hadn’t made an appearance during a race weekend. But as the F1 tour came around to Silverstone for the British GP—Lewis’ home race—fans knew they would see Roscoe at the track and invariably get more Lewis and Roscoe content. The duo has delivered on that account, but what Lewis revealed recently has fans fighting for Roscoe’s justice.

In a media event this weekend, the crowd was cheering on Roscoe, even though he wasn’t with Lewis then. Lewis hilariously revealed, “Last night, he woke up at 4 AM to go and take a s**t. I was like, ‘Bloody hell, Roscoe.’”

F1 drivers need their sleep. Almost nothing else is as important to them when it comes to recovery. But as important as sleep is to Lewis, so is Roscoe. And when nature called (Roscoe), even he couldn’t ignore it. While everyone at the event was laughing alongside Lewis, many fans on Twitter called him out for embarrassing the star of the paddock.

Everyone seemed to enjoy hearing about Roscoe’s late-night antics. And as much as Hamilton expressed how he wasn’t happy with Roscoe for waking him up in the middle of the night, everyone knows he’d do anything for Roscoe. But no one thought he would expose his poor buddy like this. One fan recorded the interaction and posted it on Twitter, captioning it, “Why did he have to go and embarrass Roscoe like that #BritishGP” And many fans sided with them.

One fan appealed to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) because of how badly Lewis embarrassed Roscoe, which is basically an abuse of his power.
