Regardless of his nationality, Lewis Hamilton is loved all across the globe equally. And to prove the point, Hamilton is now granted an honorary citizen of Brazil. It all started when Hamilton carried the Brazilian flag during his race win around the Interlagos circuit last season. Additionally, Hamilton has professed his love for the county on multiple occasions.
Hamilton even carried the flag on the podium to celebrate with the local fans after his win at the Brazilian GP. Hamilton shared the same photos on his Instagram after getting the news. The Briton has always held the late Brazilian three-time world champion, Ayrton Senna, in the highest regard, who is also Hamilton’s idol.
