Can Sebastian Vettel Speak Italian? A List of Languages He Can Speak

Sebastian Vettel is surely one of the most talented drivers on the grid. However, apart from knowing his way around the track, Vettel knows his ways around a couple of languages too.

Being multilingual in any sport can play an important role in how you fit the team. And, the German has done exactly that being successful with Red Bull, Ferrari, and now Aston Martin, it can’t be denied that his skill of learning languages has helped in his Formula One career.

It is reported that Vettel can speak English, French, Italian, and his native language, German. There is no denying that being able to speak these languages has helped to gel into whichever team he is and hit the ground running.

Now with Aston Martin, Vettel’s English skills have kicked in, helping to sync in with the Silverstone-based squad after leaving Ferrari at the of last season.

The 33-year-old even sang for the Scuderia in his last race for them at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the end of the 2020 season. The gesture was widely loved by all F1 and, surely won the hearts of some Italians.

How is Vettel doing at Aston Martin?

The German joined the Silverstone-based team at the start of the 2021 season. Vettel was coming from horrible last season at Ferrari, where he placed thirteenth in the driver’s standings with just 33 points.

It looked like the bad spells from Ferrari followed him to Aston Martin as well, as he failed to crack into the Top-10. However, at the Monaco Grand Prix, Vettel came fifth scoring his first F1 points, and at the Azerbaijan GP, he scored his first podium in his British green overalls.

At the recent French GP, Vettel had to settle for a disappointing ninth-place finish. However, the German hopes to bounce back and aims to achieve a better result in the upcoming race at the Red Bull Ring in the upcoming weekend.

Can Vettel get his first win in his new chapter at Aston Martin in Austria? We will just have to wait and find out.
