Why did Ferrari Sign Carlos Sainz?
The Spaniard doesn’t think that 2021 is his strongest season in F1
Sainz is going well in his first season with the Prancing Horses. But the Spanish driver has mentioned that the 2021 season is not his strongest season in F1 despite racking up most points in 11 races in his career.
“It doesn’t feel like my strongest season in F1 definitely,” said Sainz.
“I feel like there’s a lot of points, a lot of missed opportunities here and there. I think I said that before this race that I feel like I haven’t maximized a weekend, yet as a Ferrari driver I haven’t put a whole weekend together, and this is something that I used to do very well.

Sainz is currently ahead of Leclerc with 83 points and Charles is on 80 points.
