Sainz currently sits in 7th place in the drivers’ standings with 149.5 points to his name. He has 19 points-finishes this year out of 21 rounds so far. He recently visited the Dubai Expo 2020 where he talked through his first season with the team. The Spaniard believes that it was a strong year considering the fact that he could not test the new car during the winter testing.

“For me, it was a positive first year at the Ferrari. It was a great challenge to be fast and bring points and progress to the team without any winter tests before jumping into a new car,” said the Red Team driver as reported by Gazzetta.
