The dynamic between teammates significantly affects a team’s performance, and thus, Sainz hopes to forge a good relationship with the Monegasque.

“I would lie if I said I’ve not talked to Charles. I am paying attention that what happens over there, and asking him questions now and then. My relationship with Charles actually is very good. I expect to get on well with him in the future.”

Carlos Sainz is under a lot of pressure going into Ferrari next season. If he’s able to cultivate a healthy relationship with Leclerc, that will help him get more comfortable at the team and help him understand the car much better.
