It looks like Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz will drop his red racing suit, for a more defiant red suit soon! Turns out, the Spaniard will be making an appearance at the Bank of Spain for the latest season of Money Heist, or La Casa de Papel.

He won’t be alone though, Moto G star Marc Marquez will be accompanying his compatriot too! Sainz had named the series as his favorite of all time; it must have been exhilarating to be a part of it!

Even football star Neymar had popped in for season 3 of the show. Surely, it will be more of a cameo role for the two drivers; considering their busy schedules limiting their time on the sets. Nonetheless, it will be exciting to see a familiar face on one of the biggest TV shows of the year!

Carlos Sainz joins a list of F1 drivers

Although Money Heist may be a good segway into an acting career for Sainz, there have been other F1 drivers who have gone the route before him.

In the sequel, Lightning McQueen meets Lewis Hamilton and NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon. Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso appear in their native language versions of it.

However, our F1 drivers don’t just stick to the silver screen. There have also been some very popular features in music videos as well. Sebastian Vettel is the leading all-star as even with the Cars feature in hand, he has had in screen time in a music video as well! Vettel truly has a solid retirement plan ahead of him.

Former Haas driver, Romain Grosjean, joined the bandwagon as well, racing against David Guetta in his music video for Dangerous.
