Yesterday the motorsport world witnessed the sad demise of 14-year-old Hugo Millan, who died in a massive motorbike incident.

The teenager was taking part in his home race in Motorland Aragon, and with just 13 laps to go, the young Spaniard fell off his bike at turn 5. While he was trying to get off the track he collided with another rider, Milan Leon Pawelec. The race was halted immediately and Milan was airlifted to the near hospital. And despite the best efforts of the medics, they couldn’t save the 14-year-old.
Spanish F1 driver, Carlos Sainz, shared a story on his official Instagram account to mourn the death of a fellow compatriot. The Spaniard wrote: “So sad at the news of Hugo’s passing. My deepest condolences and encouragement to all his family and friends. R.I.P.” (Translated via Google Translate)
