Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris Captain Teams With Other F1 Drivers in Friendly Golf Tournament

The three days of Bahrain testing are finally concluded. The F1 drivers just got done with the hectic and much important testing prior to the first race. Now it’s time for some leisure, cause why not? The drivers are to indulge themselves in some sporting actions other than F1. The sport they have chosen is Golf, where Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris will captain two teams ahead of a friendly tournament. Apart from Leclerc and Norris, Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez, and Alex Albon are also set to participate.
Talking about the golfing session, Lando Norris conveyed, “My group is Carlos, Checo, and myself. It was Carlos Sr. as well but he had to leave sadly, so we are down a player. Charles left our group to join Alex‘s group. We invited him and he declined.”

So as it stands, Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, and Sergio Perez are on one team. And Charles Leclerc and Alex Albon in the other team. Leclerc further asserted on Alex Albon in an interview regarding this, “Aww he is so nice…He has my phone number, so he can text me. So yeah, we are playing on Monday, and I am really looking forward to it!

As the tests have come to an end, all kinds of preparations have already started for the season opener. Teams have relentlessly checked their cars over and over for the three long days. Now it’s time for the first race to take place.
This is one of the most anticipating seasons in the history of F1. Not only because of the changes that were done to the sport, but also for the reduced differences between the teams. Due to the new regulations, fans now have reasons to speculate that teams like Ferrari and McLaren might give Red Bull and Mercedes a run for their money.
