Yeah, I f***ed it up in the last corner; nothing to say, I mean, in the last three corners,” he said. “So, at the end, the end results count. I’ve been good for one part of the race, but sh*t when it matters and that’s it; fourth. I’m so disappointed.”

Like Leclerc pointed out, he was extremely competitive through most of the race and it looked like P3 could be his.  Unfortunately, in the final lap, his attempt at getting past Sergio Perez destroyed his chances of standing on the podium.

His race engineer talked to Leclerc, admitting that he did a good job, to which the driver gave a fuming response. “I did a sh*t job,” he said.

The Ferrari driver kept on showing his frustration on the radio. Eventually, at one point, the race engineer even requested Leclerc to turn his radio off.

But after calming down, Leclerc turned his radio back on and congratulated his teammate, Vettel, on his first podium of 2020. Although Leclerc missed out on his podium, it still was an incredible race weekend for the entire team.

Ferrari will leave Turkey with a smile on their faces as their convincing performance handed the team an impressive 27 points. This has also reignited their prospects of concluding this season in the Top-4. But will they manage to do so?
