The F1 schedule has moved to the fourth race of the season, which is the Emilia Romagna GP. This race will take place on the Imola circuit. so it’s going to be a home race for the 2022 championship leader team, Ferrari.

The Prancing Horses are flying at the moment like a pegasus and have won five podiums in the three races this season so far. Now, they are eyeing winning the race in the Imola circuit. Further, the Ferrari duo, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz expect the circuit to be full of Ferrari fans.

Recently, both the drivers were asked to close their eyes and imagine the Imola circuit on race day. So, the drivers closed their eyes and said, “È Rosso”. It means red in Italian and it represents the Italian F1 team. It was also a way for the Ferrari duo to ask their fans, Tifos, to attend the Sunday home race.

Huge Expectations from Ferrari in Imola

The Maranello base has a glorious history in the sport but has lost its glorious form over the past few years. However, Ferrari came with a powerful car this season, F1-75, and have also got skillful drivers like Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Undoubtedly, the Tifosis has huge expectations for the Prancing Horses. But the main challenge the Italian F1 giants might have to overcome is Red Bull. The Austrian f1 team is also among the favorites to win this season, but the reliability of their engines has been a concern.
