The Saudi Arabian GP is finally here and only a few hours away. The Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc is confident about his team dominating in the second race of the season. Despite Sergio Perez outperforming the Ferarri duo in qualifying and claiming a pole grid position for the Jeddah race.

The legendary Italian constructor has been phenomenal at the start of the season, especially their driver Charles Leclerc. The Monégasque driver has been shining in every appearance this year since pre-season. He even won the season opener in Bahrain last week. So, he is the favorite to win the Saudi race.

The Ferrari man is pretty confident about his team’s performance and is looking forward to the main race. Leclerc reported, “Yes I think we do. I think it’s very strange because we are actually quicker with the use of tires and the new tires and we need to understand that as a team just to be a bit better prepared for the next race with these new tires and put them in the right window.

“But overall I think for the race tomorrow, I’m quite confident. I think we were quick this morning during the race simulations. So, pretty confident for tomorrow,” Leclerc further continued.

Can Charles Leclerc keep his winning run in Jeddah?

The Ferrari drivers are the favorites this season and Charles Leclerc has been the most outstanding driver so far. The Monégasque dominated the reigning champion last week. Max Verstappen never got the opportunity to take the lead in Bahrain before his unfortunate retirement from the race because of an engine glitch.

Leclerc has had a phenomenal week in Saudi Arabia so far. He dominated the practice sessions and was also impressive throughout the qualifying. Even fans expected him to lead the race on Sunday, but the Red Bull driver Sergio Perez surprisingly took that lead from him with the fastest lap around 1:28.200.

However, the Ferrari man isn’t down about losing his pole in the starting grid. Instead, Charles Leclerc is m0re fired up and is looking forward to defeating Checo and winning the second race of the season. Leclerc said, “Yes, it is a full attack, as always. The race is tomorrow… so hopefully, we can have a better day tomorrow.”
