Undoubtedly, the Ferrari F1-75 is the fastest car this season. Charles Leclerc is dominating in the Italian car. Last Sunday, Leclerc managed to pick up the 4th race win of his career. However, out of those 4, the 2022 Australian GP might prove the best for the Monegasque driver. Charles Leclerc not only won the race and got the fastest lap but he also managed to create a huge gap with the car in P2.
He finished the race 20.524 seconds ahead of Sergio Perez, who finished P2. This feat allowed Leclerc to become the second man for the Italian F1 giants, after the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, to win a race with such a big margin. The great German driver finished 35.629 seconds ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya at the 2002 Spanish GP.
Charles Leclerc has impressed the Ferrari boss
The Monegasque driver is flying this season and is comfortably leading the drivers’ standing with 71 points. He is among the favorites to win the world championship title this season. He is even giving a hard time to the reigning champion Max Verstappen.

Charles Leclerc even impressed the Ferrari team principal, who saw the Ferrari man grow up in ranks through the Maranello Academy. Binotto conveyed, “Yes, this is the best Charles Leclerc I’ve ever seen. He already had a lot of talent and is continuing to grow. For the ability to concentrate on race weekends, for maturity, for the ability to fine-tune the car, for working with engineers, for maturity and tire management. The challenge will be to stay at these levels for the remaining twenty races, but I know he will give it all”
