Charles Leclerc ready to bring home more trophies for Ferrari

On Leclerc’s Instagram page, a new post with a powerful caption has the attention of Ferrari fans all over the globe. The contract renewal has set the Monégasque driver on a path to secure more trophies to bring back to the prancing horse’s stable. In the post that was put out, the first picture is of Leclerc holding onto all the trophies he won. Along with that came the caption that stated, “We’ll do everything together to get as many of those trophies in the years to come❤️”

This statement has his fans excited to see what Ferrari has planned for 2024. Charles and Ferrari have had a long bond lasting over 8 years. With Carlos Sainz‘s contract ending after this season, Ferrari has moved their focus to Leclerc. Even Frédéric Vasseur, the team principal of Ferrari, has expressed how things will change in the team and Charles will start to get the attention he needs.

Although Charles Leclerc has not been Ferrari’s top priority, he has always dreamed about winning the Drivers’ Championship with Ferrari. Despite being let down throughout his time in Ferrari, Leclerc took it upon himself to fulfill his childhood dream.

The new 2024 car for Ferrari is being called Project 676. Weight is one of the most crucial factors in an F1 car. Ferrari had a disadvantage by being 6 kgs above the FIA technical regulations. This led to neither of the racers being able to perform as they intended to.

Although finishing 3rd is respectable, Leclerc has more potential which could be unlocked with a better car. Looking at the 2023 season, Ferrari has decided to work on better cars and Project 676 looks like it is it.

Ferrari’s Project 676, led by Enrico Cardile, achieved a significant weight reduction target. The new F1 model is expected to meet the minimum weight limit of 798 kg, in contrast to the SF-23. Ferrari 676 is the first Cavallino car with a ground effect, enhancing aerodynamic performance. The new ground effect manages airflow beneath the car, improving downforce and stability.
