F1 2022 season began with a bang! The sport came back to the limelight in a sensational fashion as Ferrari got back to winning circles after 46 race weekends. The Italian team started the 2022 season in a strong manner as they finished 1-2 at the end of the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Red Bull went into the race as an odds-on favorite but came out of it with zero points. Both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez both retired in the dying moments of the race.

This gifted the struggling Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton a very unlikely podium and good points in the constructor’s moments.
Charles Leclerc and Ferrari make a perfect start to the 2022 F1 season
As reported by F1.com, not only did Leclerc win the race splendidly but he also had a perfect weekend as he took pole, won, and the fastest lap of the race. Ferrari took the most points with Carlos Sainz finishing second behind his teammate.

But the surprise of the weekend will be the performances of Haas and Alfa Romeo as they both took amazing points in the Bahrain GP. The returning Kevin Magnussen finished P5 while Alfa Romeo had both cars in Top-10.
