Lando Norris has been aggressively making his mark on F1. The McLaren driver is one of the most sought talents on the grid currently. His maturity and racing skill is amazingly good for a driver at his age.
Recently, the Brit also suggested that he would love to drive outside of F1. He recently signed a long-term contract with McLaren, who also have an IndyCar team. Furthermore, they also conducted a demo in a NASCAR car, which prompted Norris to think about other ventures.
Norris said, “I would love to drive more, I would love to get more opportunities. Formula 1 is my life at the minute, I understand that. But doing the Daytona 24 hours and things like that, I would love to do, and I’m sure in maybe 10 or 20 years I will have that opportunity, or more opportunities to do it.”
Norris’ teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, recently drove the number 3 car of Dale Earnhardt and Norris claimed that he would love to drive a motorbike. However, he also joked that he wouldn’t be able to return to F1 afterward because he’d crash.
Fans react on Twitter to Lando Norris’ statement about racing outside the F1
