Earlier this month, the news of accusations on Christian Horner regarding inappropriate behavior towards an employee dropped like a bomb. It was just days after Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari move was announced, and accusations against Horner took the wind away from Hamilton. The latest news on the accusations is out as Red Bull confirms that Christian Horner will not be fired as a result of the Investigation. Let’s get into the details.

Soon after the allegations were made against Horner regarding inappropriate behavior towards employees, Red Bull launched an investigation into the same. As a result of the investigation, Christian Horner had a meeting with the investigation board that lasted for several hours. Many developments were made over time by the investigation board. Not only Red Bull but their partners like Ford and F1 themselves were invested in what the outcome was going to be.

Earlier this week, the investigation board completed its study on the case and handed over all the findings and evidence to the Red Bull Team which is believed to be a 100+ page document. It was then up to the Red Bull board to decide what the verdict was going to be, based on whatever reports were submitted by the investigation board. It is to be noted that the investigation board was external and took its time to carefully go through all the aspects of the concerned case.

Based on the investigation reports, Red Bull came to the conclusion that Christian Horner was not guilty of the accusations made against him. The team statement reads, “The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed. The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous, and impartial.”

They added, “The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned. Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards.”
