Red Bull is in the news again with Christian Horner being the center of attention. Yet again for the wrong reasons, as the controversy of his inappropriate behavior with a female employee continues. But having such an issue while having a family must not be easy for anyone. Especially his wife Geri Halliwell.

Being the wife of Christian Horner amidst this controversy must be difficult for her, and all the more so after reports emerged that the private conversations were leaked. While she’s been supportive of her husband during the first two rounds of the season, she was not present during the Australian Grand Prix. Although she wasn’t present at the race, she laid down some ground rules for her husband to follow.

Whether Christian Horner is innocent or guilty, is still up for debate, but one thing is for sure, Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell is not happy with the negative attention they are getting. Despite being supportive in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, she decided to sit the Australian GP out to avoid media attention.

The unending saga must be taking a toll on her but as she was okay with her husband attending the race without her, she has allegedly influenced him to have no contact with the female employee who accused him of inappropriate behavior. As reported by the Daily Mail and quoted by sports1.de, Horner may not have been entirely comfortable with these measures but ultimately agreed to abide by them.

British tabloids, notably the Daily Mail, which has provided details of the alleged events and the dynamics within the Horner-Halliwell relationship, have extensively covered the scandal. While scandals can damage reputations, they also generate media interest and public intrigue, which could be leveraged by Red Bull Racing and Formula 1 for promotional purposes, at the expense of personal privacy and professional integrity.

Christian Horner’s scandal feels endless at this point and this is not a good look for the sport or the team. Hopefully, things are resolved and Formula One can move past this distraction from the races. But aside from this, on a more positive note, there has been a huge revelation with news of Carlos Sainz Jr officially being looked at as a replacement for Sergio Perez and even Christian Horner has commented on this.

This victory marked one of his three wins for Ferrari, with this particular win being particularly convincing in terms of performance. After the Australian GP, Christian Horner spoke about Sainz and stated, “We want to field the best pairing that we can, and sometimes you’ve got to look outside the pool.” Further adding, “You’ve had a very fast unemployed driver [Sainz] win today’s race, so the market is reasonably fluid.”
