He wants worth who dares not praise a foe. It is the first time that Max is getting any competition from his teammate and Checo is being praised by everyone for matching Max’s pace and beating him. Max Verstappen has been Christian Horner’s and Red Bulls No.1 driver ever since Daniel Ricciardo left. However, recently a video has surfaced which suggests otherwise.
Sergio Perez won the Saudi Arabian GP ahead of Max Verstappen. Max Verstappen had to start p15 as he ran into a driveshaft problem during Q2 and finished P2 on Sunday. Both the Red Bull drivers were pushing despite being asked by the team to back off. Max nipped the fastest lap on the last lap, making him the championship leader. There was friction between the two drivers in the cooldown room, and Max’s dad failed at congratulating Checo for winning.

The relationship between the two drivers went sour when Max refused to let Checo pass during the Sao Paulo GP in 2022. A recent video of Checo and Max coming down from the podium has surfaced. In the video, the Dutchman is seen walking down the stairs alone as the whole team swarms Checo, holds his trophy, and celebrates as they come down.

Is Red Bull prepared as Sergio decided to charge for the title?
Red Bull is well aware of the situation that is brewing between the two drivers. The Mexican has helped Max win championships previously. Sergio Perez has made it clear that he will fight for the championship this year. As per Timo Glock, Checo will not get involved in anything relating to helping Verstappen in the future.

According to sports.sky.de, Timo Glock said ” Sergio Perez will not get involved in any topic in which he will have to support Verstappen in the future. I’m sure of that because the Mexican sees his chance to fight for the title with Verstappen. This will lead to a fight between the two. We can expect that there will be friction. Red Bull is certainly already aware of this.”
