New Turn 10 will increase safety for the 2021 Spanish Grand Prix

The new layout pays homage to its origin
The new layout finds a middle ground between that used by F1 and that used by MotoGP. However, MotoGP also started using the same layout as the Formula 1 race due to safety concerns. This prompted a change in the circuit.
While the circuit renewed their agreement with the FIA for 2021, they are looking to sign a new long-term deal. The Spanish Grand Prix is a fan favorite, and with the change in circuit layout, fans can hope for an even more exciting race.
