Lewis Hamilton is a beloved global icon who has become a Formula One living legend. The Briton has come a long way since his karting days and has labored to be where he is today.

The Mercedes driver has been a consistent threat to his rivals and has won several accolades for his achievements in motorsports. Moreover, he is tied with German driver Michael Schumacher for seven world titles under his belt.

Can Lewis Hamilton win a Grand Prix in 2022?

Last season saw the accomplished driver struggle more than ever. While he had a brilliant start to the season, he controversially lost his title to a dominant Max Verstappen. The results were a shocker for everyone, but more so for Lewis, who looked devastated. Furthermore, to make things worse the Mercedes W13 could not catch up with rivals at the start of the new season.

Hamilton has won at least one Grand Prix in every year of the competition. But with the new car and the first qualifying result out, Hamilton’s chances this time look bleak. While he outpaced his teammate, George Russell, he was at least a second slower to his arch-rivals Ferrari and Red Bull.

However, fans are hopeful that the dexterous driver will manage a win, even with an inferior car. They believe in the Silver Arrows and are expecting a comeback after 3-4 races. While this might not be a Mercedes dominant season, they won’t lose their position without a fight.

Is Lewis the comeback hero?

Despite the machinery struggling heavily, Lewis and Russell have consistently shown respect towards the team. They’ve blatantly laid out the facts before the fans, but have reassured of a comeback as soon as they find a solution.
