The rain gods blessed us with their presence in Singapore. As a result, the start of the Singapore GP was delayed by an hour. Like Singapore, the Japanese GP returns to the F1 calendar after 2 years. The race in Suzuka is rarely a boring one. Moreover, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, whose engine partner is Honda, will be looking to seal the championship in their home race.

The Suzuka Circuit in Japan is one of the most intriguing circuits for motorsport fans around the world. The rich knowledge, notorious weather, and beautiful circuit make it an enjoyable track to visit for not just the fans but the drivers alike.

F1 returns to this circuit after 2 years due to a gap caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, fans are excited about the event’s return and it looks like so are the rain gods. A wet Suzuka race is one of the most challenging and demanding races on the calendar.

The last time F1 raced in Japan, Valtteri Bottas emerged as the victorious driver. Polesitter Sebastian Vettel came home to take the second position. Meanwhile, Bottas’ Silver Arrows teammate Lewis Hamilton finished third.

Furthermore, with rain predicted on Friday and Sunday, F1 Twitter anticipates another wet race on the tracks of this classic venue.

Wet weather races in Japan have been the backdrop of many title-deciding races. Despite the title being fairly one-sided this season, Max Verstappen can still bask in the glory at the home race of their engine provider, Honda.

Meanwhile, some fans were worried about the practice sessions being washed away. Furthermore, with the delayed start of the Singapore GP, not many fans will appreciate seeing the race end under the timer in consecutive races.

The FIA was criticized for not giving the fans a wet race start in Singapore. Fans will be hoping that if it rains during the start, the FIA don’t ruin it for them this time.
