Daniel Ricciardo has recently opened up about Lando Norris. The McLaren driver has talked about his teammate at the Woking-based team. Daniel is of the opinion that he shares a good bond with his fellow McLaren driver.

Daniel has recently completed his testing with his team in Barcelona. McLaren, with Lando and Daniel, has completed the testing without any major setbacks. The team from Britain even managed to get the better of the ‘porpoising‘ effect or ripple effect normally.

This is Ricciardo’s second season at the Papaya team. The Australian has joined McLaren from Renault in 2021. With one year down, he has built up a good relationship with his teammate Lando. The duo even shares a pretty friendly relationship where one was recently seen hyping up the other.

Talking about this, the Honey Badger stated, “I try to give them everything and talk to Lando. I think this is an important time to work with your teammate and get on the same frequency. So we can get the team in the right direction.”

How was the testing for Daniel Ricciardo?

Ricciardo was the second driver to cover the most distance in the testing at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. With a total of 212 laps in his bag, the Honey Badger tried his best to send his team as much data as possible.

Daniel struggling with his car isn’t something that is happening for the first time. The former Renault man has struggled ever since his debut at McLaren. However, the fans now expect the Australian to perform better than last year. Even the man himself is confident enough to get the better of him and help his team fight against the likes of Ferrari, Red Bull, or Mercedes.
