Generally, you would give anything to be in the shoes of a Formula 1 driver, right? That being said, it is no doubt that being Daniel Ricciardo right now isn’t the easiest of things to do. After two squalid years with McLaren, the Honey Badger was shown the exit doors with a year to spare in his contract. But the damage those two years did to him were apparent when he decided to take a hiatus from the sport. With none of the real contenders wanting a piece of him, the 33-year-old thought it best to take a sabbatical and join his ex-team Red Bull as a reserve driver.

With no palpable future in the sport, Ricciardo must find himself in a very difficult spot. However, a break from the trials and tribulations of the sport has afforded him an opportunity to kick back and relax. But how is the Australian dealing with such a massive professional setback? As it turns out, Ricciardo took an adventurous day out with a few friends. But all the heads were turning due to his chemistry with a certain person of Hollywood fame.

American actor, Dax Shepard, who has starred alongside stars like Robert Downey Jr. was amongst the pack of motocross enthusiasts, including Ricciardo himself.

The 48-year-old took to his Instagram to share a few pictures and videos from that day. Shepard captioned his post, “The most perfect day ever!!! Big Bois on little bikes!!! Ricciardo has been down in the dumps recently. And that is exactly why this newfound bromance, which seems to be working like a charm for the Aussie, is being hailed by the fans.

Daniel Ricciardo is a fan favorite, no doubt. Hence, he got them worried as the apparent toll the sport took on him seemed to have dulled him a little. However, as soon as the pictures from his adventurous day out with Shepard & Co. went viral, fans were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.

One fan commented on Shepard’s post, “Looks like a great time and always happy to see when you get to play with Danny Ric. So here for this bromance.” Whilst another said, “On Dax’s first squat, Danny face says he’s really going to backflip!!”
