The 2021 Formula One season ended in the favor of Max Verstappen, as the Dutch driver lifted his maiden World Championship. However, the title-deciding finale race has been full of controversy since Max won, and the saga still continues.
The Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton was leading the race in the last lap of the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP; meanwhile, Red Bull’s Verstappen was chasing the Silver Arrow to take the lead. However, Daniel Ricciardo was also following the two cars and witnessed the whole last-lap drama in front of him.
Recently, Ricciardo shared his entire experience of the last lap drama between Max Verstappen and Hamilton at the McLaren MCL36 launch. The Honey Badger said, “You know after the race my radio was broadcasted, I think and I was like man I’m glad that I wasn’t a part of that, and yeah just it was too much.
