Lewis Hamilton is one of the few drivers on the Formula One grid actively looking to bring about a change to the world amidst the ever-growing social concerns. Since 2019. the seven-time world champion has been using his social standing as a tool to voice out his point of view to his millions of followers.
Well, Mercedes F1 boss, Toto Wolff, recently managed to break the truth about Hamilton to the public. The Austrian revealed that Hamilton had painfully insulting karting days where the other parents banned their kids from engaging in a conversation with Hamilton.

What did the Mercedes F1 boss say?
As reported by Express, Wolff revealed the shocking treatment Hamilton had to endure as a child. And the ill-treatment took a turn for the worst when he marched his way into the world of motorsport.
“As a child, he was insulted on the go-kart track,” he told Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. “White parents forbade their children to interact with him. That definitely left big scars on him too. For him, racing was the valve to show everyone. And it still is!”

Well, despite the tough childhood, Hamilton has gone on to become one of the greatest racing drivers in the history of Formula One. What’s more, having won his seventh title in 2020, the royal family also recently knighted the Mercedes driver for his accomplishments in racing.

Lewis Hamilton will come back!
Hamilton failed to secure his eighth world championship title in 2021 after the stewards decided to add a bit of flavor into the Abu Dhabi GP. And since then, there have been rumors of Hamilton potentially calling off his career in Formula One.

Well, hearing how Hamilton managed to fight his way through such a mentally devastating childhood, there is no denying that he is indeed strong enough to cope with his latest Abu Dhabi heartbreak.
