Despite 2020 F1 Season Flop, Ferrari Give Their Employees a Reason to Smile

Ferrari had a terrible season last year, they took home 6th in the constructors with 131 points. This was their worst year in Formula One in four decades. The morale at the factory was down and something needed to be done to bring the team back on its path to success.
The team had a lackluster season but didn’t stop the Scuderia to reward its loyal members to a reward. A wonderful gesture from the red Italian team to thank them for the efforts they put out throughout the season.

The reports come from an Italian media (as reported by Racing News 365) outlet that stated the team paid an estimate of 7,500 euros to each of its factory employees.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the World had come to still, confided in the walls of our homes. This was the case for employees of the red team on the grid, Ferrari did the most it could to pay its loyal members from its own pockets, so they could make as few claims as possible from the insurance.

According to some reports, the team makes a whopping 200 million euros in the sport from the fact of their historical presence on the grid. In the 2019 Formula One season, they had an estimated figure of 426 million of revenue. This makes one of the highest-paid teams in the sport.

With a new driver coming in the form of Carlos Sainz from Mclaren to pair up with Charles Leclerc. Ferrari would hope to have a better season from what they did around the track in 2020.
The lights go out in Bahrain on the 28th of March and we get to see that red car zipping around the track in the middle of the desert. Ferrari will have to drive like never before to show that they are still one of the best on that grid.

However, if the team faces problems with its engine again, maybe they should have saved its bonus and should have invested in engine development.
